Shotgun Zone sells firearms in full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local firearm laws. We are holders of a Federal Firearms License (FFL) as dealers and importers.

HOW TO BUY

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to possess a firearm in order to buy a shotgun from us. You should know the local, state and federal laws concerning gun ownership.

We will ship your shotgun to an FFL holder near you, where you can pick it up after filling out the necessary paperwork. To find an FFL holder who does transfers, look for a local gun dealer, a pawn shop, or search online at GunBroker.com or Auction Arms. [Our FFL transfer fee is $50.] The FFL form must be current and "wet signed with ink" from your dealer, and may be faxed to us at 830-612-2708 (call first, please).

PAYMENT

We currently accept CASHIERS CHECKS, MONEY ORDERS, and PERSONAL CHECKS (from U.S. banks) payable to "Shotgun Zone" in U.S. dollars. Your personal check must clear before we ship your firearm, usually within 10 business days. Texas residents must add 7.25% sales tax. Payment for any item must be received within 10 days.

SHIPPING

Shipping is by UPS, ground only, and INSURANCE is mandatory. Tracking numbers will be provided upon request. Every package is carefully wrapped and packed to insure the safety of the contents. Shipping and insurance charges are between $40 and $55, depending on the value of the firearm.

YOUR SATISFACTION

We allow a 3-day inspection period, beginning on the date the firearm arrives at the FFL dealer. This inspection does not include shooting the gun. If the gun is not as described and photographed, we will accept it back and refund the purchase price, although you must pay for return shipping. All guns are in good working order when they leave our shop and we want you to be satisfied. Returns must be shipped back to us no later than the fourth day after being received by the dealer, and we must receive it back in the same condition as we shipped it.

If the dealer receives the gun in damaged condition, please call us immediately at 210-844-9040. They must save ALL of the packaging in order for you to file a claim with the shipping company.

TRADES

We will do trades, however it is very difficult to accomplish trades long-distance. We prefer to do trades in-person due to the problem of evaluating something sight unseen. If you choose to send an item to us to evaluate, we will do so and make you our best offer. You will need to cover shipping costs both ways if we are unable to reach an agreeable trade amount.

We do NOT do appraisals or research on firearms, although we wish we had the time!
